A sensual depiction of a nude figure likely to have been depicted from a life drawing session, which we know were regularly held at the Art Centre. Although not necessarily a realistic anatomical rendering of the human body, the artist seems to be experimenting with colour and contrasting vibrant shades. The work presents a dialogue between the roundness of the flesh and the furniture that provides the backdrop also acting as a stabilising factor in the composition.
