A wonderfully vivid representation of the neo-gothic interior of the Sacred Heart Church, situated in the Upper Town of Gibraltar. The view is of the stained-glass windows and one of the Stations of the Cross on the western side of the nave. Vivid primary colours contrast with the bright oranges and the raw umber that has been used as a base for the whole composition. Leni has also added the ray of light and the celebrants of a religious service. A small but captivating piece.
