Leni Mifsud painted the architecture of places she visited and was particularly drawn to peculiar scenes that caught her eye on her travels. She depicts a narrow street where the buildings are connected by arches. A singular figure, a woman carrying her wares on her head, walks down the street under the arches. Leni's use of bright blues, reds, yellows and greens gives this work the vibrancy and appeal the artist is known for.
