CHARITY RUN WITH SIR MO FARAH
SATURDAY 18TH APRIL 2025
In connection with this weekend’s charity run with Sir Mo Farah, the following traffic restrictions will be implemented:
Road Closures
· Marketplace and Corral Road along its entire length will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 0630hrs – 1030hrs Saturday 18th April. Residents to Ocean Heights will have controlled access to their residence via Fish Market Road, throughout this time.
The Bus Service will be relocated to Waterport Road for these 4 hours.
The Market Place Taxi Rank will be relocated to Devil’s Tongue Road, to cater for the Cruise Ships Shuttle Service during the event.
Parking Restrictions
· Entire area of Corral Road from 22:00hrs on Friday 17th April to 1030hrs on Saturday 18th April.
· Parking restrictions at Waterport Road to accommodate the alternative Bus Station from 22:00hrs on Friday 17th April to 1030hrs on Saturday 18th April.
· Parking restrictions at Devils Tongue Road to accommodate the alternative Taxi Rank from 22:00hrs on Friday 17th April to 1030hrs on Saturday 18th April.
Race Control
As public information, the race will be controlled by the Royal Gibraltar Police Traffic division and the Gibraltar Car Parks PMO’s.
Additionally, Marshalls from the Army and Air Cadets, GCS and GAAA’s will be supporting the organisers at every junction and roadway. The public are requested to respect the marshals during the race times of 8.30am to 10am.
It is estimated the race will not exceed an hour and a half.
